Giving Back to Him!
Have you considered giving back? I am not just talking about giving to your friends or your community....but yet a greater cause. People are always searching for a hope, a someone to rescue them from all their troubles or just better times. How about giving back to the one who was beaten, bruised, and spit on for your sake. Don't believe the lie of the enemy, when he said there is no hope. I can assure you that there is hope in Christ!
The word of Gods reads, the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10kjv). This world is full of everything but the hope of Christ. Could it be that we have forgotten, although, we hear it preached so often - or maybe we are not living out what is actually in God's word. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16kjv). If we believe this word the then we will remember the reason that He came and the outcome that was/is promised to us.
Let's take a walk through the 40 days that our savior suffered. Please join SAM Worship for Lent from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday (01March - 15April). This is 40 days excluding Sundays leading to Easter. We will use this time for prayer and penance (outward expression of repentance for having done wrong against God and His will). For all sinned and come short of the glory of God..(Romans 3:23kjv). We will pour out our hearts to our almighty and ask for forgiveness as we have sinned against Him (Psalms 41:4kjv).
I am so thankful that I serve a risen savior that informs me that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9-10kjv). I made a choice that I will always believe and confess and that is my hope! Will you make it yours today...He is waiting for you to give back.
